Application Procedures and Deadlines

The College offers two degree programs, a Baccalaureate of Science in Nursing (BSN) and an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).

Baccalaureate of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Bachelor of Science in Nursing Completion Option
This program is for the student that has already met the prerequisite requirements for the BSN completion program and consists of seven quarters (21 months) of nursing courses with both didactic and clinical components built on a foundation of general education courses transferred in from other accredited institutions.


Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree Program (for students without Prior College Credits)
This program is for students that need to take the full program including all of the general education courses at Denver School of Nursing. This program is 13 quarters in length (39 months).


Bachelor of Science in Nursing RN to BSN Option
This program meets the needs of the registered nurse who desires to continue education in nursing at the baccalaureate level. The time involved for this program will vary depending on the courses needed to complete the academic coursework.

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Associate Degree in Nursing Program
This program is for the student that has already met the prerequisite requirements for the ADN completion program and consists of six quarters (18 months) of nursing courses with both didactic and clinical components built on a foundation of general education courses transferred in from other accredited institutions.


LPN to Associate Degree in Nursing Program
This program meets the needs of the licensed practical nurse that has already met the prerequisite requirements for the ADN program and desires to continue education in nursing at the associate level. The program is four quarters in length (12 months).

General Education
These courses are for those students wishing to complete some or all of the required prerequisites at Denver School of Nursing Bachelor of Science in Nursing Completion Program (21 month) or the Associate Degree in Nursing Completion Option (18 month) programs.
